DIY Detox Water



Hey there, today I thought of sharing my own tried and tested detox water.

Ingredients :
  • Lemon
  • Ginger
  • Cinnamon (Powder or a Stick)
  • Honey 
  • Tulsi ( Optional )

How :
  1. In boiling water add ginger slices and one tablespoon cinnamon powder or 1 stick of cinnamon, drain water and let it cool.
  2. Take a Jar or Water infuser; add ice and chilled water in it.
  3. Add Lemon slices, tulsi, drained water of ginger and cinnamon and one table spoon of honey.
  4. Cold water and Ice can be refilled twice in 24 hours.

  1. Hydrates body and skin.
  2. All ingredients are useful for weight loss.
  3. Cinnamon lowers cholesterol & triglycerides.
  4. Anti-oxidants helps in getting rid of acne.
  5. Lowers ageing process,by keeping you away from wrinkles.
  6. Boost metabolism.    
  7. Perfect for Winters, acts as anti-bacterial.
  8. Yayyiie Best during PMS : High Manganese helps to lower your cramps.


I use this Detox thrice a week. Benefited me in almost three weeks.
